Jo manages our clinical floor with amazing skill and determination. She is a true Girl Friday, always going that extra mile to make sure that everything the clinical team need is at hand. She heads our team of dental nurses and whilst demanding the highest standards from them, Jo is always on hand to offer support. Jo's slight tendency towards OCD behaviour traits mean that our clinical areas must be the cleanest and most organised in the country - if it isn't in a Poly-Pocket, it's covered in bleach!

Penny has been a nurse in the practice since 1990, and continues to provide the highest level of surgery assistance to Tony Appleton three days a week. Penny has completed her training in implant nursing and assists Tony in his implant clinics, demonstrating her usual calm and professional approach to patient care.

Sue started working at the practice in 1988 and apart from breaks to bring up her three children she has been a regular and loyal member of the team. Sue is a very experienced nurse, with a great knowledge of dental procedures, and now also forms part of Tony's implant team.

Charlotte joined the practice in 2005 and qualified as a dental nurse two years later. Charlotte recently returned from maternity leave and her beautiful baby Daisy is now enjoying the facilities of the new nursery which conveniently shares our site in Aintree Road.

Ewelina came to England from Poland and joined our practice in 2007. She has recently completed a college course to qualify as a dental nurse - we were extremely proud of this achievement as Ewelina had to learn everything in her second language. Now fully settled in England, Ewelina is looking forward to her wedding in 2011.
Lisa Oakes

Junior Dental Nurse
Lisa came to the practice in 2009 as a junior dental nurse, but soon demonstrated a natural flair for the job. Lisa is currently attending college one day a week to gain her qualification in dental nursing.
