FAQ’s

I have dental phobia. Can you help?

Don’t worry, you are not alone, dental phobia is perfectly normal. Why not give us a call to see how we can help you. We also offer sedation for treatments but feel free to bring somebody with you or you could even bring your own music.

Why do I need to visit the dentist if I am not in any pain?

Your mouth is a window to your soul. Not being in pain doesn’t mean you don’t have dental problems. Prevention is better than cure, regular visits allow us to detect problems early before they become symptomatic meaning less treatment and therefore less cost. Also as part of our overall care package we carry out an oral cancer screen at each check up.

What does a hygienist do?

It’s not just about brushing your teeth, there is more to scale and polish… It’s about advice, it’s about technique and it’s about individual assessment. A hygienist will spend a session assessing your gum health, offer advice and tips on maintaining your oral hygiene and will recommend certain accessories to help improve your current regime.
